We limit our number of hunters to ensure a high success ratio and a quality hunt. Our colors of bear are black and cinnamon. Hunting areas are accessible by boat only.
Pristine wilderness. No other lodge in the area. Areas are pre-baited 3 weeks or more before hunters arrive. Pre-baiting is included in the price. Hunting sites are checked on a daily basis and re-baited as necessary to ensure active areas.
Our hunting is on private, licensed Crown land.
During the day you can hunt the logging roads for grouse, enjoy a delicious shore lunch of fresh caught fish, and experience some exciting sport fishing.

Fall bear hunting for non-residents is from August 15 through October 31 for bow, rifle, muzzle-loader, or shotgun. Excellent shooting opportunity. High return rates. Combine fall bear with exceptional fall fishing for muskie and walleye.
We request that you harvest larger bears and do not permit the shooting of cubs or females with cubs.
Black bears are more active early morning, late afternoon, and evening. We recommend being on the stands at daybreak until 11:00 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to shortly after sunset.
We offer an early morning breakfast to take with you and a late supper upon returning from the evening hunt. |
